EDUCATION DISCOUNT FAQ
When can I start ordering online?
To receive the education discount and start ordering online, just follow these two steps:
- Create a user account. If you already have an account with Kamehameha Publishing, you can skip this step.
- Complete our registration form using your organizational address and email information. Nonprofit educational organizations will need to attach a copy of their IRS determination letter indicating tax-exempt status.
Please allow 2–3 days to receive an email confirming that your account has been approved and activated. You can then make purchases in our online store using your login credentials and receive the 60% education discount.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Schools and nonprofit organizations may pay with a purchase order or with a company-issued credit card. In the checkout section of our online store, you will be able to enter a PO number or credit card information for payment.
If I need an order filled right away, what is my best option?
Our order fulfillment partner, Five Star Transportation, will process the order within 2–3 business days. Express shipment options are available at a higher cost than our standard rates. Orders may also be picked up at Five Star’s warehouse in Kalaeloa on O‘ahu. For any orders requiring special handling, please contact [email protected] before placing the order.
How are products shipped?
Orders are typically shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Additional expedited shipping options are also available at checkout through FedEx and UPS as well as via direct delivery by Five Star Transportation (on Oʻahu only).
When will I get my invoice?
Please allow at least 2 weeks to receive the invoice for your purchase. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Invoices are issued by Five Star, and checks should be made payable to “Five Star Transportation.”
Who is Five Star Transportation?
Five Star Transportation is Kamehameha Publishing’s distribution and order fulfillment partner. Their DOE vendor number is 150670.
