{"id":46,"date":"2015-05-15T16:01:22","date_gmt":"2015-05-16T02:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogsites.ksbe.edu\/kapalamatransportation\/?page_id=46"},"modified":"2024-09-12T11:37:03","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T21:37:03","slug":"staff-vehicle-use-request","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogsites.ksbe.edu\/transportation\/staff-vehicle-use-request\/","title":{"rendered":"Staff Vehicle Use Request"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Staff Vehicle Use Request &#8211; Please Read Below:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><b>KSK Pool Vehicles are available for use by KS Staff assigned to Kap\u0101lama Campus, with priority given to requestors requiring the vehicle(s) to support KS&#8217; educational programs\/offerings.<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Requests for vehicles must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance but not more than two weeks (mini bus) or seven days (passenger vehicles) prior to vehicle\u2019s intended use.<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Vehicle transactions (pick up &amp; return) will occur on the lowest level of Hale Ho\u2018oku Ka\u2018a (Kek\u016bhaupi\u2018o Parking Structure).<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Vehicles will be available for pickup during normal Monday-Friday school days, starting at 7:00 a.m. on the date of the reservation.<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Vehicles are due back no later than 10:00 p.m. on the last day of the reservation. Keys are to be dropped in the designated key drop box at the vehicle pool kiosk.<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Vehicle keys will be dispensed from the automated key box located on the lowest level of Hale Ho\u2018oku Ka\u2018a, just behind the vehicle pool kiosk.<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>All pool vehicles must remain on KSK campus overnight, unless approved by KSK&#8217;s Operations Program Manager (x28275).<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Please keep vehicles clean and safe for use.\u00a0 Vehicles should be returned in the same condition as received (inside and out).\u00a0 Returning a vehicle with excessive wear (for example dirt\/mud in carpeting or upholstery, spilled food, etc.) requiring professional detailing to remedy may result in a charge-back to the user&#8217;s Department.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Staff may park their personal vehicles in any available parking stall of Hale Ho\u2018oku Ka\u2018a when picking up pool vehicles for use.<b><\/b><\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Students may only be transported in approved vehicles by KS staff that has completed mini bus training.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\r\n<li><b>Students are NOT permitted at any time to operate or ride in\u00a0 utility\/golf carts.<\/b><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>KSK&#8217;s Vehicle Pool Program is managed by KSK&#8217;s Central Services Group within the Operations Support Division.
